Georadar – GPR

The Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) is a method of imaging of the subsurface in high resolution, which uses information from the trajectory of very high frequency electromagnetic waves (MHz), reflected and diffracted in subsurface.

This technique has several applications, such as spotting buried pipes, archeological and forensic studies, among others, it can also be used in urban zones.

The information is processed using specialized software, and the results are presented as a radargram, very similar to a seismogram.
